1700: The Story Begins
The wine produced by Fratelli Savigliano tells a centuries-old story, filled of passion for the Langhe area and its excellent wines, which are appreciated all over the world.
This story began in the second half of the eighteenth century with Lorenzo Savigliano, a great winegrower and a passionate producer. He led the way for the future generations who have continued his work.
At the beginning of the 20th century, Enrico Savigliano popularised the wines in Piedmont and his sons Dario and Giuseppe founded the company officially, designating wine production as the main activity.
The present day
Now the story centres around a winery run by cousins Marino (son of Dario) and Stefano (son of Giuseppe), who joined the company in the 1970s after studying Oenology.
Two minds with a single goal: to continue the family business and increase the prestige of their brand. These two aspects have evolved over time with the acquisition of new vineyards belonging to the Municipalities of Diano d'Alba, Montelupo, La Morra and Treiso.
The extension of the winery in Valle Talloria, the new international market shares and the great passion for working in the vineyard as well as the winery are aspects that have marked the 2000s and which are projecting Fratelli Savigliano company towards new objectives.
The mission: customer relations
The success of wine also relies on the direct relationship between the producers and customers.
This is fundamental to the Fratelli Savigliano company as it allows customers to be made aware of Marino and Stefano's professionalism, the uniqueness of the area and the essence of the wine that evokes the spirit of the Langhe.
“Our added value is our relationship with our customers, which goes beyond the purely commercial. We believe that being ourselves and wanting to create direct, familiar, friendly, simple relationships provides the basis for better appreciating the culture of the land represented by our wine.”
